Yoguru's Original and Blueberry yoghurt

Today's the seventh day of my 30 days desserts project. This time I had Yoguru's Original and Blueberry yoghurt from Raffles City.

Rejoice! I'm 1/4 away from completion!

What I like about this yoghurt is the taste. The blueberry taste is quite mild but it gives nice aroma. The original was my favorite. It taste a lot like plain yoghurt that you buy from the supermarket which I like. A little sour. Yums!

Why no toppings? I think putting toppings just isn't worth the money really. It's not possible for me to give any review if there's distraction to the main dessert right?

For the price of $3.40, it was a good buy for me. Loved it! Not until a large portion of it dropped when I was scooping without looking. My mouth felt the loss of that portion :(
Today's the sixth day of my 30 days desserts project. This time I had Scoopz's Chocolate Ganache and Mocha ice cream at Upper Thompson.

I'm almost to a week to my project! Hooray!

I was suppose to have pancakes from Little Pancakes but unfortunately my friends and I were late. We were actually arrived an hour before at midnight but they closed early for some maintenance that they were doing, so no pancakes. So we walked around the area is we could find another one and we happened to find Scoopz.

Scoopz sells ice cream, hot and cold beverages like hot chocolate and iced lattes and waffles with ice cream. With such array of menus, going there would means enjoying different desserts.

I chose chocolate ganache because it had marshmallows in it. The taste of the chocolate its very nice. Thick and flavorful. As for the maocha, it just taste mocha. But what I like about the ice cream was that it felt thicker and stretchier. What I mean by stretchier is that it felt like like it had some stretch when you scoop it up. Maybe it's just me but I liked how it feels stretchier.

If I do come down the next time, I'm gonna try the chocolate ice cream on waffles!

Berrylite's mixed Chocolate and Strawberry Yoghurt with granola, fruity pebbles and mango

Today's the fifth day of my 30 days desserts project. This time I went to Northpoint where I had frozen yoghurt from Berrylite.

Like most frozen yoghurt outlets, they have different flavors other than the original. Before I embark on this project, I only thought that they had one flavor which is the original. Now I am more informed of what they sell other than the many toppings they have.

I had my yoghurt of mixed chocolate and strawberry with toppings of granola, fruity pebbles and mango. What I got was a cup full of goodies! And every spoonful is bliss! The strawberry flavor is much more distinct than the chocolate and it's sweet! But to my surprise, both flavors compliments each other well. The texture of the yoghurt is very nice. Melts deliciously in the mouth. Yums!

For the price of $5.40 for a small cup, 2 flavor yoghurt and 3 toppings(buy 2 get another 1 free), you'll get a delicious dessert that would put a smile on any kids faces. Adults included.

Cheesecake Cafe's Chocolate Brownie Cheesecake

This is my 4th dessert for my 30 day desserts project. This is a chocolate brownie cheesecake from Cheesecake Cafe. I did not plan for this dessert today but since I was around the corner, why not.

I was suppose to have Lao Ban beancurd today but the shop was closed due to the food court being washed and cleaned till tomorrow.

The cheesecake is really nice. I really like the chocolate fudge that's on the top layer. It's so sweet! There are actually brownie slices in the cheesecake itself that adds a nice soft texture when you bite into it. I feel like the cheese itself is quite okay but the whole cake itself is an indulge. There's some walnuts in the brownie but you can't really taste it when you dig in to this delicious cheese cake.

It's reasonably priced at $7.50 but $0.30 is added when you takeaway. Do drop by the cafe as it's very unique when you go inside. No pictures of the interior as no photography and video is allowed. Seriously.

Today's the 3rd day of my 30 days desserts project. I actually planned to have another dessert at another place but so happens I was invited to a buffet at Sentosa's new kids attraction called Port Of Lost Wonder celebrating their success.

There were loads of free food! Hahaha! They had satay which I really love because the onions that comes along with the dish is almost unlimited and I love my satay with onions! Yum!

Okay let's get back to desserts. There were a few desserts which was available so I was deciding which to choose from. I decided to try 3 different desserts as the serving was too little if I were to choose 1.

I chose gula melaka mousse, chocolate mousse and cheesecake. All these are made by Sentosa's F&B. They are actually bite size pieces which makes them easy to eat.

The gula melaka mousse is sweet and the gula melaka taste is very strong. You can smell the aroma too. I'm not quite sure what the white thing is at the bottom but it gives texture when you take a spoonful of both the mousse and the white thing. It's nice but 1 cup was enough for me.

The chocolate mousse was delicious! The mousse was soft and smooth and the chocolate pieces adds a good texture to a spoonful. It's not sweet but slightly bitter like dark chocolate. I had 3 of these by the end of the buffet as I love chocolates!

The last piece was a cheesecake. It was soft and yet flavorful. Probably because of the small size, the taste wasn't so distinct but it was alright. I don't mind having it just for filling up my stomach.

By the end of the day, I was almost filled to the brim! But it was a happy day for me as I had great food with some great friends :)

Tom's Palette's Lavender and Hazelnut Latte ice cream

Today's the second day of my 30 days desserts project. I went to Shaw Towers to try Tom's Palette ice creams. There were so many different flavors and some has cool names like Lavender,  and Peanut Butter Chocolate! I saw Lavender and had a try. It was so Lavendery! The first thing I tasted was the smell. Ooh ahh..

What I liked about the place was how simple and colorful it was. Prices could be easily identified and the cup sizes were easily noticed. I picked the medium size which was $4 and I got Lavender and Hazelnut Latte. I was treated to an ice cream that overflowed with goodness!

The serviette that I placed below the cup was dirty with overflown goodness by the time I finished the cup. The Lavender tasted very sweet and was very aromatic. It leaves an aromatic lavendery smell after you swallow the sweet taste of the ice cream. The Hazelnut Latte was no exception. The latte taste was mild and the aroma sweet. You can taste the strong hazelnut flavor which I liked it very much.

Tom's Palette gave me a good impression after just one trip. I can still taste the lingering lavender aroma in my mouth right now. I will definitely go there again for more flavors!

Marble Slab's Caramel Peanut Butter Crumble Crisp

I've restarted my 30 days of dessert project again. This time I plan to complete it! Period.

The first one was from Marble Slab. There were so many flavors to choose from! But I decided to go for something I like which was peanut butter ice cream! The had like tasty creations which are their legendary ice cream mixin combinations. I had one of their tasty creations which was the Caramel Peanut Butter Crumble Crisp on a cup with waffles.

I saw them made the ice cream using vanilla ice cream, peanut, caramel and chocolate chips. It was quite cool seeing them make it really.

How did it taste? hmm.. It taste a lot like vanilla with a hint of caramel. Didn't really taste the peanut. The chocolate chip gave nice texture to the whole experience though some got in the back of my teeth. As for the waffles, it was nice and crispy!

This stall was recommended to me by a friend whom she said was her favourite ice cream place!
